Hi I am peacock , Everybody saying I am very beautiful, I am not as familiar as hens and ducks with human being, I like to keep distance from Peoples, I fear when I see people who follow me in colourful dress, I am Omnivorous & and like to eat everything which I find in farm, Farmers from my village are taking very good care of me, feeding me and gives water in time of summer when there is no adequate water to drink, sometimes they angry when I destroy their farm, Peoples who have agro tourism  are taking  very good care of me and feed us regularly because Tourist come here to see me and owner get some money in return which improve financial conditions of farmers of  my village. Please bring any pot to drink water. Please bring grains of Bajra, Jawar  and rice and feed me and my friends with your hands.

    I can live up to 25 years if I get proper food and water, our breeding process start from month of June Peahen gives 4-6 eggs once in year, I impress her by my beautiful feathers and dance the eggs takes 28-30  days to complete hatch, I am not helping peahens to protect eggs and chicks because I have long tail and I am not able to manage to run here and there to protect them, Peahens protect their chicks themselves, usually they live in group, my beautiful feathers start falling after October and ends in December, I feel very light then, feathers again start grow and after March It fully grow, It is very difficult to survive after march because scorching heat and less food and water and less shade of trees makes us ill, some strange dogs , mongoose , crow, big king cobra snakes are our enemies they kill, eat, destroy our family, strange dogs are great enemies of us which always killing us, but due to bad government policy strange dogs number increasing day by day which is big Hazard for me and my family; some uneducated farmers spray strong poison on farm and by result in poisoning which leads death of many birds.
